So-called FinTechs, e.g. comparison portals, have entered the market particularly frequently in recent years, enticing customers with efficient and digital services. This means that the individual steps of the financing process, from the creation of the financing request to loan servicing, are digitized and automated in as much detail and comprehensively as possible and thus become transparent. In addition to the aforementioned FinTechs, banks have also recognized this trend and positioned themselves accordingly. With a loan calculator, for example, the desired financing can be calculated quickly and easily, including the consideration of individual rates that are flexible depending on the situation. The financing offers generated are usually non-binding and individually compiled. Another trend in this area of business is cooperation: Banks generally have a higher reputation and market power than FinTechs, which in turn are more modern. Together, new and innovative processes can be created that have the appropriate reach from the outset.
