IWMS / Integrated Workplace Management System
Internal processes
Tasks of IWMS
The term IWMS (Integrated Workplace Management System) covers applications in which several software platforms are linked together for optimization purposes. A central database serves as a platform in which different business processes from all areas are linked together.
These include facilitiy management, capital project management, resource management, and real estate lifecycle management. An IWMS enables companies to achieve greater transparency, efficiency, flexibility and customer satisfaction in their respective business processes.
Advantages of digitization with IWMS
A great advantage of IWMS is that it can be quickly and easily adapted to changed requirements. Thus, they are not programmed with special, external software, but configured in the standard software. This increases flexibility while reducing costs.
In addition, IWMS often also supports the company’s sustainability goals, as resources such as water and energy are used efficiently. This is the case, for example, when a building management system is integrated in the IWMS.
