Tree inspections in real estate
Tree inspections are a major duty of road safety, as tree owners are required by law to ensure that their tree does not pose a hazard. This also applies to private individuals and trees in private gardens. If a tree is obviously diseased, the respective owner must act. Rotten spots, dead branches or fungal fruiting bodies are all signs that can be recognized even by laymen.
Tree inspection should be carried out twice a year, in leafy and non-leafy condition. The control of public trees is carried out with the help of the tree cadastre. There, each individual tree is recorded (analog or digital) and thus made identifiable. Factors such as stability, vitality, species and genus are recorded during initial registration and then checked regularly.
Digital solutions for tree inspections
Tree cadastre software enables digital management of all relevant information and pending tasks relating to trees. Each tree is recorded, fitted with a chip and located on the integrated map. The chip can be scanned using tablets or smartphones and stores all information, such as GPS data, about the tree. This makes it possible to identify the right tree more quickly. Damage can also be noted digitally directly on site.
Other providers determine the location of individual trees using drone technology. A detailed determination of the location is particularly important for remodeling measures. Damage or diseases can also be noted digitally here.
