Due to increasing complexity within the processes and structures of a modern company, so-called Enterprise Resource Planning systems (ERP systems) are indispensable. They support the planning and control of resources such as capital, employees or operating resources. The aim is to improve organizational processes and structures in order to react more quickly to changes in the company and the market, as well as to optimize individual business processes. The basis for a functioning ERP system is conscientious master data maintenance.
In the real estate industry, master data maintenance includes, among other things, the recording of all addresses of tenants (tenant data maintenance), owners, interested parties or craftsmen and the houses, apartments, commercial spaces or offices to be billed (building data maintenance). ERP systems can now bundle this information and thus assist, for example, in the creation of exposés for new leases or in the preparation of service charge statements. In addition, a CRM system is often integrated, which makes it easier for property managers to manage their customers.
